Install CukeTest

CukeTest comes in many different packages, the way to install it depends on your operating system. If you have installed software before, installation should be simple. On each system platform, CukeTest uses the most common and easy-to-use installation methods.

System Requirements

The following systems are currently supported:

  • Windows (7/8.1/10/11)
  • Linux (Ubuntu/KylinOS/UnionTech OS/Deepin)
  • Mac (macOS 10.12 Sierra and above)

CPU 1GHz or more, memory 4G or more, remaining hard disk space 10G or more.

Windows platform installation

There are two ways to install CukeTest on the Windows platform, as follows:

  1. Desktop version: Install through the installation package with the suffix msi. Can be installed in Windows 7 and above versions.
  2. App store version: Download and install from the Windows Store.

Note: CukeTest requires a 64-bit Windows system. Except for the 32-bit version of the Windows 7 system, all Windows higher than 7 are 64-bit systems. The Windows Store and desktop versions can be installed on the same system, but this is not recommended and may cause confusion when using it.

Linux platform installation

For users of the Linux system platform, CukeTest provides three installation methods deb, rpm, and tar.gz, which are applicable to most Linux distributions, and the more common ones are Ubuntu, Deepin (UOS) and Galaxy Kylin ; At the same time, it can also be installed and executed on Linux with only a terminal interface, providing continuous integration capabilities on Linux. The name of the installation package is in the form of cuketest_1.x.x_xxx64.deb, the middle is the version number, and the latter is the CPU architecture type. You can Contact Us to apply.

If you need installation packages of other architectures, you should inform them in the application. Currently, MIPS and ARM architecture platforms are also supported. For detailed linux platform installation steps, refer to Installing CukeTest on Linux

Mac platform installation

For Mac platform users, CukeTest provides dmg installation package. Double-click the dmg file and drag the CukeTest icon into the Applications folder.

First Launch

After the installation is complete, start CukeTest as follows:

  • On a Windows host, double-click the CukeTest application icon on the desktop. On some newer Windows platforms, you can also type CukeTest directly into the search box of the start menu.
  • On Ubuntu or KylinOS hosts, depending on your desktop environment, the CukeTest startup icon may have been placed in the System or System Tools group of the Applications menu. Alternatively, you can type CukeTest in a Terminal window.
  • On a Mac OS X host, in the Finder, double-click the CukeTest item in the Applications folder. You may wish to drag this item to the Dock.

When CukeTest is started for the first time, the following window is displayed. ! First run configuration
Accept all the default options and click OK, or modify the options as needed.
